D’Angelo’s “Bullsh*t”

I’m really an old school cat when it comes to jazz (think Coltrane, Thelonius, etc) but I dig Roy Hargrove. He’s worked with everyone from Herbie Hancock to Joshua Redman but his trumpet can also be heard on two of my favorite albums, D’Angelo’s Voodoo and Erykah Badu’s Mama’s Gun. This joint is off his 2006 lp, Distractions.
